How could not I go to see this band tonight!!
Actually, they were at a party earlier that an Alpha Gam threw a few months ago and were pretty good!
Unfortunately, hubby changed his mind and said no...because he's on call and the guy actually working the shift, is possibly going to have a baby with his wife....okay it's really due the 5th but crap! Why can't I not party so someone MIGHT have a baby, lol.
..we'll see if I get to stay home and watch the New Year's Eve/Mardi Gra parade on the tv.
ETA: Welll..did make it to the Sugar Bowl parade..kinda short, lol. Unfortunately, we ended up standing in the middle of some WV fans. Most were nice except 2 were kinda obnoxious but then again, I'm sure there were one or two rude GA fans, lol.
Afterwards, went to Steak n Shake and got hamburgers and a chocolate shake...home by 9. Hubby promises me next year we'll do something else.
Like one of the lines in a Beatle movie..."Could be worse, could be raining!"
