I realize that this is the law in this country. I never said it wasn't.

I still want to know what all these people who oppose abortion/birth control want to do to support these babies that will be born into poverty.

Not all aborted babies would be born into poverty. Additionally, why not kill all people living in poverty if poverty is so bad?

They don't want to pay taxes to support them. Most people I know who oppose abortion look down on people on welfare, but many of these large lower-class families could be smaller if there wasn't such a stigma about abortion/birth control.

A lot of generalizations.

The cycle will never end if people still make others feel bad for making decisions about their own bodies.

Why do you care if someone makes you feel bad? When it comes down to it, you can have your abortion. You win.

If you want to live in a country where the government can control your uterus, go somewhere else.

I am opposed to most government control, but there is a place for some government control, and I think this is one case, just as others may support gun control or drug control, or crime & punishment. I didn't realize that having an opposing view meant I had to move somewhere else. Am I not free to believe as I wish?

Freedom is what makes America so great, and lately there seems to be a huge movement to take freedoms away.

That happens when you tell people to move away who disagree with you.

Like I said before, if someone gets an abortion, it doesn't affect you at all.

When people are stabbed or robbed it doesn't affect me either. Most pro-life positions have nothing to do with the effect on one person.

Most of the time you wouldn't even know it had happened. Most people don't make the decisions lightly, either. I personally don't agree with it as a form of birth control, but there are definitely accidents and other extenuating circumstances. I honestly don't think anyone would know 100% what their decision would be about abortion until they are in a situation themselves. One of my neighbors (who is extremely pro-life) thought she might be pregnant at the age of 57. She had grandkids already. She confided in my mother that if she was indeed pregnant, she wouldn't have it. It would be unfair to herself, her family, and the child. She wasn't pregnant, but she now believes in freedom of choice.

Congratulations - another one for your cause.
