Our condolences go out to Singer Betty Wright. Wright's son, 21 year old Patrick Parker, was killed on Christmas Eve. Parker was shot and killed in South Florida. He was one of the famed singer's five children. Wright, who is best known for the classics Tonight Is The Night and Clean Up Woman, was away on cruise at the time of his death.

Oprah Winfrey is going to make sure her best friend has a man. Since her divorce a few years ago, Gayle King has had no luck on the dating scene. But now, here comes Oprah to the rescue! Oprah has played matchmaker with Gayle and Gospel Singer BeBe Winans. BeBe is a recent divorcee, and Oprah thinks he's the perfect match for her best friend. The two have had a lot of fun over the holidays getting to know each other.

Brandy's got her man back! The romance is back on between Brandy and NBA Player Quentin Richardson. Richardson is now with the New York Knicks. Earlier this year, he was set to marry Brandy. The 13 nieces and nephews are claiming it's not about the money, but it's about the legal right to use her name, photos and other property. They feel they will do her legacy justice.

There will be no more celebrity judges on American Idol. Season five kicks off January 17th on Fox, and this year promises better talent and more cutthroat competition. Producers felt the celebrity judges didn't add anything to the show.

Debbie Rowe is back. The ex-wife of Michael Jackson is claiming the King of Pop abducted her kids when he whisked them out of the country to join him in Bahrain. Michael is currently being investigated by the Department of Justice for lying to get his children new passports. In other Michael news, it looks like "Uncle Michael," as in Uncle Michael Jackson, will be appearing in a reality TV show after all. The two Judges are upset that the third Judge, who has a reputation for being mean and nasty, is getting mega millions while they get paid peanuts. They feel they make a major contribution to this hit show. So why is their pay so low? This TV show makes millions for the Network, but the perks for the two have been slashed to accommodate the mean Judge. Will these two Judges stay after this season?
