Whoa, whoa, whoa, are you saying women who have abortions are chickens? Many times there are extenuating circumstances. When you have an administration who thinks abstinence is the only good birth control and makes it hard for people to get it affordably, of course you are going to have unplanned and unwanted pregnancies. I'd like to know how many pro-lifers are willing to pay taxes to support these children on welfare. Personally, it doesn't affect me if someone gets an abortion. I don't think I would have one, but I am happy that I have the freedom to choose what is best for me.
As for instances of rape, the morning-after pill isn't a fabulous remedy. What about the women who were raped and afraid to tell someone or even think about the possibility of being pregnant for a month or two? Should you force them to go through the psychological trauma of carrying a criminal's child?
