I always got good stuff in mine. Like nice jewelry, not crap target stuff. And cold hard cash. and candy. Now that we have a blended family we "don't get gifts for adults"
But, the stockings overflow so much that you ususally need a big shopping bag to carry it home. B/c one of my sisters has a mail order biz, we get lots of tea samples and food samples.
