I didn't share my "traditions". I have two Christmas ornaments that I was given as a child that I use on the tree every year. Of course when I became an AKA, I was given an AKA christmas ornament. That became my new favorite ornament.
I love to make things (hence, the arts and crafts in my profile). If anyone wants to know an easy way to make your own ornaments to give as presents, just send me an e-mail.
Also, we always bought and decorated our Christmas tree on a Friday night, two weeks before Christmas. My mom said the decorations get "tired" if you put them up too early. The tree and decorations always came down the day after new year's day.
When I was little, my mom always read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" to me before I went to bed ( that is until I didn't believe in Santa Claus anymore).
