McNabb is just trying to do his job as well as he can. What happens to quarterbacks who scramble all the time? They get hurt. I think he is trying to develop as a player and be as successful as he can while expanding his abilities and preserving his health. It's pretty lame that one dude is going to accuse him of selling out or breaching faith or belitting anyone because of decisions he's made about how he wants to play football -- it sounds to me like McNabb is facing a real struggle as a black athlete right now.

You know less about football than Tristan. Most of your points are wrong. Jerry Mondesire is not the only guy belittling McNabb. The majority of Philadelphia agrees with Mondesire. McNabb is not doing his job as well as he can. He is a great runner who has decided he doesn't want to run the ball. That wouldn't be a big deal if he was a good pocket passer, which he is not. His accuracy sucks and he makes bad decisions. McNabb spends more time working out at TGIFridays on City Line Ave than he does at the gym. McNabb is about 40 lbs overweight. Who cares about ESPN? Those are the same morons that thought Rich Kotite was a good coach.
You didn't offer anything that disputed anything that Mondesire wrote in his column. You actually confirmed the main points. McNabb is black and he no longer wants to run the ball.
