j/k I agree with everything you said. I have a teenager - An "A" honor roll student , yet I read one of his stories
before he turned it in (as parents should) and saw a slew of slang. SO as a responsible parent - it was my job to make him rewrite it and explain - correct grammar for school stories, please. Save the slang for when you write that award winning novel.
