Motown has been messing people over the last few years. Look how long it took for Stevie's album to come out. My uncle worked with Brian McKnight for several years. We were talking about Brian leaving Motown and he said "that wasn't by choice".
He also said Motown is pretty much a catlog record company now, and expect for Kem and India.Arie, I totally agree with him.

On Mariah, I have noticed that in the beginning of promoting "Mimi", the dresses were longer. Now the hemlines are back up to her butt. But, the real Mariah is the one with the stilettos and the short dresses. Mariah when she first came out is the image of Tommy Matolia (sp) and I think the one when her album first came out were some image people (Andre Leon Tally being one of them--I figured that out on E!). I don't think she's doing to dress inapproperly at the Grammys, though.
