Sorors and friends,
A soror from New Jersey just sent me this e-mail message with the attachment! Apparently, the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity on the campus of Auburn University was suspended along with the chapter of Beta Theta Pi for "potentially offensive and racist conduct. Both of the predominately caucasian fraternities attended and sponsored Halloween parties where members of their organizations dressed up like members of Omega Psi Phi fraternity flashing gang signs and wear black faces like the Minstrel shows from the beginning of the twentieth century. Wait it gets even worse! Other members are dressed up like the kkk with a member dressed up like an African American sporting a shirt that has FUBU written across the chest and a rope around his neck! America is still dealing with racism in modern day 2001!
