We did, but lost valuable laundry time in the process
We also think we found the source of the elf hats--apparently they were/are dealing with it in 3 area movie theaters and traced the outbreak to Thanksgiving week showings of the Harry Potter movie. Neighbor girl went to the same theater in Dublin the night after DH & boys went, and she's dealing with the same thing.
I'm not sure I'm ever going to a movie theater again after learning this!
Y'all would be amazed at how many things can really be washed in hot water and dried in a hot dryer without being destroyed.
