Eh, they were too "pop girly". Bubble gum pop comes to mind -- and I think when they debuted, bubble gum pop was pretty much fizzing out. Plus they were all under the age of 18 at that time.
Granted, they had one good song, well two...but only one really picked up at mainstream. They were mediocre. I don't really see them at the same level with the girls from MTB3.
