Creme brulee
Creme brulee is (surprisingly) easy and everyone loves it... you can make it a day or so in advance since it sits in the fridge to chill before you burn the top of it.
It's essentially just eggs, cream and sugar and vanilla extract. You'll need ramekins but you can buy them at a dollar store, and a little blowtorch is nice but you can also broil them, as long as you keep a close eye on them.
