Thank you all for your advice. I am relatively new to my chapter but I think I am going to discuss this issue with some senior members of my chapter, ones who have more influence than I do and who really understand the concequences that result from such immature behavior, and see if they will help me talk to the chapter about it. I think I might slip a note to our advisors too just to let them know what is going on.
