I'm counting down the days till December 9th too. I read the short story that this is based on and enjoyed it. It probably won't make alot of money, but it should get the awards.
I read that they're targeting women with the marketing and whatnot....making it seem like an epic love story. You can see that the posters for Brokeback and Titanic are similar:
