I think there is a difference between being open to debate and being asked to completely abandon your core beliefs.
Having a discussion on evolution with the kids - go for it - they have to learn it in school anyway.
Being told to wear a shirt with God crossed out - nah...never.
What got me was how much of a punk the husband (of the athiest family was)! You don't want to believe in God that's your business but be able to back up why - don't break down when the swap wife questions the way you run your house. It made NO sense that the oldest child was basically running the house while the lazy arse wife played video games...and you think you are doing nothing wrong & bust into tears when told to man up?
I felt so bad for that boy - I hope now that the show aired she is shamed to get off her behind and act like the adult she is suppossed to be.
