I will be the first to admit that I am somewhat style-challenged when it comes to winter clothing. Especially this winter- I'm going to be in Philadelphia and NYC right before Christmas and I'm stumped as to what I'm going to wear! I have clothes that will work, my friends that live there told me to layer and get some of the Ugg boots (I HATE those boots) and to get thin thermals to wear under my clothes. I've got that covered.

Here's my current problem- I bought this beautiful long, tan peacoat. I never wear brown or tan, I just never really have. When it comes to basics, I wear a lot of black, sometimes grey, but I couldn't pass this coat up. Because I'm style-challenged, I'm not quite sure what kind of pants/skirts would work with this coat... I've got the shoes under control for once though.

Can anyone make suggestions? Seriously, I admit that I'm not the greatest shopper, I just don't know what to wear with this and I want to start mixing up my wardrobe a little bit!
