The very first I remember telling myself while in preschool "It's ok to be different because God made us that way.
1) Treat others the way you would want them to treat you.
2) Practice what you preach
3) Remember that when you point the finger at someone else, 3 are pointing back at you
4) You get one life per lifetime so remember to love it
5) Don't waste your future dwelling on the past
6) There is nothing more expensive than regret
7) What you do or put out to the universe is given back to you 3x in return.
8) Bloom where you are planted
9) Live each day to the fullest because you will never know when it will be your last (this one added after 9/11)
Well my list grows with time and experience so I will probably have more rules to live by
