I think the problem with PoA is that it was the shortest movie out of all of them. It was 142 minutes (to me it actually seemed shorter than that). SS was 152 and CoS was 161. To me PoA could have used the additional 10-20 minutes.

I think the writers did a pretty good job with GoF. Yes, as a person who has read the novel I would have loved to see more, but I understand that they (the writers) have to take a 500-700 page book and cut it down to 2 1/2 hours. Things are going to be cut.

I do agree though in PoA they should have told the audience the reasons behind Harry's Patronus (the stag) and the Marauders map.

The only thing I can guess is they will discuss the patronus and the map in OotP because that is when Harry has to take the occulamacy (spelling issues) lessons from Snape. So one can hope that in one of those memories it will be discussed. With OotP it will be nice to see more of Snape and company as kids. He he. Makes me wonder who they get to play a young Snape.
