Actualy you are right about the friend, the friend was the chick from Blossom, but the main girl was Hilary Swank, but candice Cameron plays in one similar, actually a couple similar. One dealing with greek life and then one deaing wiht like domestic violence where her boyfriend beats her up and some other crazy drama. Hey Jess wasn't I talking to you when I was watching that? But both movies are crazy and just sad
