The mother's pin you order through HQ. You can see a picture of it on the Burr Patterson Auld website where they show Phi Sig jewelry. Order pins now, they can take a while to get in. The mother's pin is beautiful and has the crest on it.

As for the ceremony it is an open ritual - when I was still active Iota Gamma did it once with mother's and daughters only at a potluck. the next year it was during another potluck but all family members were invited including the father's and brothers.

It is a beautiful ceremony. I encourage your chapter to do it if possibly. you can pm me or even Beth (SapphireSphinx) for more info as we both pinned our moms.
