Lightbulb James, you da man....

That was some great advice. From everyone else as well. I would go along with James' advice on the letter thing, but I would cc the regional director of their sorority, their local alum chapter and their director of chapter services. All this information can be gained from the web, and their natl's will come down on them 'cause most likely the girls in XYZ soror broke state law by having an open container of alcohol in the shuttle. It's probably not just a no-no to have booze on the bus, but illegal as well. A letter to just their chap president might likely end up in the trash. If you cc the big wigs (without getting the school or PHC involved) you'll still get them busted. Fu*k the reprocutions. Do you understand the sit here? I dont think you fully do. YOUR chapter could be placed on probation because you not only violated your ins policy (a big no-no), but violated the law by allowing them to ride in the shuttle with open containers. (Legally YOU are the one responsiable, as the driver) You seem to be worried about reprocutions. Will you still feel the same way when they get off scott-free and its your chapter thats on probation for violating the rules and not allowed to have any social functions for the next year/semester (while the other group laughs about it)??? Sounds a bit bad, but someone is gonna get screwed here, best not be you. Being nice in these situations only gets you screwed. I just hope you at least get a cigarette outta the deal.

I stand by ya tho. Us southerners tend to be a bit revenge minded. I think it was that whole reconstruction thing.
