Good luck to all those considering ADPi offices!

The best advice I can give you about considering an office:
1) Check out the office description. Does this look like something you could do? Jot down some examples of things you've done in the past that help meet that criteria. You can bring these up when submitting your interest orally and verbally.

2) Shadow the current officer and also chat with her adviser about the position. Take notes, ask questions. This will look very favorable-- you have done some homework on the positions.

3) Are you current on dues, GPA requirements for officers and members and the International Exam?

4) Are you good at balancing school and sorority? Being an officer is all about time management. Your school work is top priority, but sorority deadlines are well defined and procrastination or that final exam that just crept up on you aren't valid reasons to miss your ADPi priorities.

5) Can you support a majority decision that you aren't on the winning side of? If it falls within chapter majority and is alignment with ADPi/college polcies and the law, can you live with it? A good officer is supportive of chapter decisions.

6) A good officer does what is best for the chapter, follows policies to a T and is a role model and ADPi Lady. Are you that person?

7) Remember... There is no campaigning for office in ADPi.

Good luck to everyone considering an ADPi office and best of luck!
