Reading through some of the posts. I noticed there were no historically and predominately African American Sororities listed.I am a lady of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. which is the first sorority for collegiate black women founded in 1908. By anyway, on my campus there is little to no rivalry between the different minority greeks because its so few of us, we really have to stick together and be one unified body. Coming from a nationality where there is little unity within the race itself sometimes Greek Life is one of the few places where you see African-Americans treating each other like brothers and sisters. I do have a question for the more NPC and IFC Greek Orgs- Why do you rival against each other, or in other words what purpose does it really serve?
-I am not trying to bash anyone, I just want more understanding.
