Rob, Older Bairds may be the ticket.
Mine go back to 1930 only though but they will keep some items in for a time.
The newer Bards really suck. Homomized as book was getting huge.
Check Librarys at schools not only at Your School but also Public and see if they have them.
Before WWI is going to be tough! (?) maybe, maybe not! Dirt digging is never easy!
