Unfortunately the yearbooks for UofT only cover from about 1918 to 1960 when it comes to GLOs - before that they aren't listed at all (nor is affiliation); after that of course the university servered all ties to GLOs.
There is a memorial roster in the Soldiers Tower Memorial listing all the names of those who fought and those who died in the Great War, but GLO affiliation is spotty at best. The memorial book for World War II only lists those who gave their lives, and it doesn't mention any GLO afflilations.
As it is I've been going through the old records of the university compiling a list of students/faculty/alumni that gave their lives in the various wars of the past two centuries - problem is the further you go back the more iffy the records are...
Basically I need to figure out what locals became what international GLOs - so I know who to contact in the hopes of getting a list of names and dates to compare to the list I'm building... of course this all assumes that the various GLOs in question will co-operate and that their membership rolls aren't secret.
