I've learned that threads like these usually don't last too long. On a more positive note, I've also learned that there are people on all sides of the political spectrum who are capable of mature debate. For every person who just goes extreme for no reason, there are posters like Munchkin03, GeekyPenguin and others who I may not agree with, but who I have to respect for being thoughtful on topics.

well, i'd say there are a number of intelligent posters on this site. then a few here and there who bring the general IQ level down with innate stupidity.
