Deltabrat, I am now in the LA area and need some assistance. Is the person that you and your mom use open to new clients right now? What services does she provide?

If she does not do laundry (in addition to other various tasks such as organizing closets and/or carpet cleaning), do you know of anyone who does? Will you pm me and let me know how much she charges (if she is taking new clients)?

Does anyone else know of a trustworthy person that does a good job in the LA area? I'm in Culver City so anyone in LA, south bay, west LA would probably be amenable to coming to my house.

Thanks,
SC

Her house is really big so the lady gets her work on there.

We use the same person and she rotates. This is simple if you live in Los Angeles, as far as I am concerned because there is a surplus of people who do housework types of stuff and don't feel "above" it. If someone asks me to explain this, I will.

She cleans the pertinent areas, kitchen, bathroom, vacuums, dusts.

I don't clean up anything but then again, I am a pretty clean person. My mom also.

I stay here while she does it. My mom leaves her there and runs random errands sometimes. Basically, because it's not a maid service, she has been with us for a while, we feel that she can be trusted.

She comes once a month to each of us. We just stagger the weekends she does this.

Is there anyone in your neighborhood who uses a person that they can refer you to? I say this because the woman started at my mom's then my aunt was like "heeey" and she went there and then I was like "uh-uhm" and she was here. Word of mouth works well here.

Good luck.
