Really? That's encouraging...maybe I'll be able to get something pierced after all. I was thinking if nothing else, maybe some "unique" ear piercings, like you said.

I was just sort of wary because a bunch of my friends have had trouble with this in the past. Granted, none of them are teachers, but they work in restaurants, for crying out loud. One of my friends just let his ear piercings grow back in because Applebee's wouldn't let him keep them in while he was at work, and when my boyfriend bartended at this Italian place they wouldn't let him wear his tongue ring. So I thought it best to err on the safe side...
