SNOOP INTRODUCES NEW LINE OF HOT DOGS:
‘Snoop Doggs’ to hit grocery stores in January.
*Capitalizing on his rap name, Snoop Dogg has entered the hot dog business with a new line of franks following a deal with Platinum One Medium.
The Boston Herald reports that Snoop has teamed with partners Franco Petrucci and Jeff Earp to launch Snoop Doggs, a new line scheduled to arrive in grocery stores in January.
“There aren’t any celebrity hot dogs out there,” Snoop’s brother and business manger Bing Worthington told the Herald. “Who’s the competition? Ball Park?....Imagine a long,
skinny hot dog just like Snoop.”
Snoop’s partner Earp is a former owner of a Joe & Nemo’s in Massachutsetts, a popular hot dog business founded in 1909.
In justifying the new venture, Worthington said: “Snoop takes advantage of everything. This rap money isn’t long. Just ask MC Hammer.”
