I did.

I move 8 hours south (650ish miles) away from my family to be with my fiance. We've been dating for 6 years too though.

I don't think it is smart for her... with a brand new relationship. I would be willing to bet that she would regret the move if she did. I have had friends move for a new relationship (even an in-state move) and they regretted the choice IMMENSELY.
