I'm a textbook case of IBS. At least, I was until a couple years ago when I finally got it sort of ironed out. Before that, I was afraid to leave the house/dorm and would have "attacks" each and every morning, without fail. I would also have them when I got stressed, nervous, or anxious, which was pretty much all the time! In the past year I've only had maybe two or three attacks, so that's good...I'm just really, really worried about my colon being inflamed. I read somewhere that colon inflamation doesn't generally go with IBS, even though that's what my doc said it was. Like I said, I have no symptoms other than the weird feeling in my left side. I have no idea what caused it to get inflamed, either, and that's what's so frustrating.

At any rate, I've been avoiding dairy (*sob*) and wheat bread, and I don't eat red meat anyway so that's not an issue. It's a little better, I think, but I still don't feel quite right, you know?
I would fill the Librax and try it first on a day when you don't have to work and can just hang around the house. My blurred vision from it was like how people get when they need bi-focals.. close up reading issues. Meds affect people in different ways! But, I would ask about nulev instead because the side effects weren't as bad, it starts working within 20 minutes of taking it and can be taken on an "as needed" basis.
