Other Canadian terrorist actual have blown up airplanes - perhaps you've heard of an Air India bombing? It's still being investigated - mainly because of the government's and prosecutor's screwing up.
As for terrorists with ties to the Vatican - well I thought that was some 1000 to 700 years ago... but then again they did go above and beyond in depravity compared to modern terrorists...
