I used to think
- that life couldn't get any better than senior year in high school
- that all of my friends would remain the same and we'd always be there for each other
- making the right choice was easy
- everyone respected integrity
- I wouldn't be the 'old-school' wife who cooks, does laundry and fixes lunch for her hubby
- being strong meant that I didn't need a man in my life
