It's a lot harder to fend off vaginal sex if someone (or lots of someones) is holding you down. I've never be *raped* in that sense but I've definitely had sex attempted to be forced on me with significant violence involved. I just didn't do it even though I got beat down. You always have a choice. I'll tell you this, I KNOW that a man by himself would have to kill me before I'd allow anything like that to happen. But, if it's a group of men, I could only fight my hardest and hope I get away.
Unfortunately, in her case, she wasn't in complete control of her faculties with the alcohol in her system.

It could be argued, and probably has been, that a reasonable woman would not fight 7-10 males and come out on top. It even says she TRIED TO FIGHT THEM OFF.
I cannot believe that rather than having compassion for this poor violated woman, y'all are saying she didn't do enough.
