If I name any daughters I have Katherine/Catherine, I will probably NOT call her Kate. Katie or Cathy/Kathy, yes, but not Kate. Kate was the name of a very b.tchy girl I went to Brownies (if little girls can be b.tchy)....kind of soured it...But you know, things can change too...
