I have a friend whose parents are Rob and Regina Richardson. The four kids are Rita, Randy, Roy, and Robbie. Always a mouthful. Especially since Regina is Cuban...so all the kids have Spanish middle names....kinda funny because all 4 kids look like your typical midwestern white kids (with sandy blondish/brown hair and blue eyes) and then you hear their whole names and start laughing....

But on the topic--I definitely went to school with a Precious, and Unique. The weirdest though was Fuschia. Yes, as in the color. And amazingly--no one ever pronounced it right first....maybe they just couldn't believe someone would name their kid after an obscure shade of red and pink.
Oh, and I went to school with a Mahogany too.

I also taught a kid named Miashia (pronounced MY-ee-SHA). Where you get MY-ee-SHA out of that I don't know. Side note: Her mom was Hishia (HI-ee-SHA). Weird.
