I really didn't see the end coming, although when James said something along the lines of "We're going to hit this one out of the park," I thought I heard the irony gods snicker, and when Mark said "I'm worried," and Josh said "You've got nothing to worry about; I'm not bringing you in," I was sure that the snickering turned to gut-splitting laughter.
Mark was the one of the 4 who shouldn't have been fired, IMHO. Granted, he did nothing but feed the pitching machine, but that was the team's gig, and someone had to feed it. Sure, it didn't utilize his skills, but what was he supposed to do, abandon his post? The fault there lies with Josh who should have realized there was a problem and adjusted, say by moving Jen to the pitching machine and moving James onto the sales floor.
The cab ride was hysterical.
