This thread makes little sense to me. In 1955 in the TKE house
at Emporia, 45 men lived in it, and we had a pay phone in the study. Every Saturday calls were made east by members who
spoke Italian, Polish, German, Flemish, Danish, Swedish, and
lordy who knows what else.
Me, seven times a Mayflower descendant, I thought nothing of it.
We were, I guess, diverse...out here in Kansas!
