In all fairness...when I was 17, I thought for sure that I'd be married by the time I was 25 because it seemed
so old. But now that I am at that age, I wonder what the Hell I was thinking! Maybe it was because I come from an area where it's very common for people to get married right out of high school, or at the very least, straight out of college (or
in college, for that matter), so it didn't seem weird at the time but now I can't even imagine how sucky my life would've been if I'd gotten married that young. Your perspective changes as you get older. Just ask this person in about five or six years whether they want to get married right then or not, and see what she says...I guarantee you the answer will be "NO!"
