As it happened, Iaccidently
did this to a "friend". She came to me and said she had joined a grad chapter of another BGLO over the Christmas holidays. I was so excited for her. I even bought her a frame for her car. I told her to tell the news to one of her "sorors" that had just walked up. She was very hesitant. I mentioned her new "affiliation" to one of her other "sorors". Needless to say, the word got back to the grad chapter. They had never heard of her, nor had they had an intake in over a year. I couldn't believe she had lied to me. I suppose it did all come out in the wash.
