I have seen articles saying that her ex-husband's brother Young De Barge, I think, has made these statements. I don't think that Janet has confirmed it yet though.
I believe this to be true, though. Last Christmas or Thanksgiving I was home w/my family, and my sister started telling us how she had watched a special on the Jackson family recently. She said that it showed some old footage of Janet holding a young girl that looked exactly like her. My sister said that Janet commented that this was her sister Rebbie's daughter and her favorite niece. From that point onward, my sister has been swearing up and down that this was Janet's baby. She claims that the baby was about as old as Janet's relationship w/Chico (I think he was the one), and that she did remember Janet disappearing from the limelight for a bit b4 coming back w/her Rhythm Nation album. I laughed at my sister when she was telling me this, but it seems that I owe her an apology now.
