Most if not all Greek Chapters are DeChartered for one simple reason. Well, lets say a large % if You will.
Whether it be by the Local School or the National Organization, it is happening at a huge proportion to say the least.
Lets leave Hazing alone on this thread and concentrate strictly on Alchohol.
1. Socializing is not the norm today.
2. Binge Drinking is.
3. Education is a small part.
4. Brothers and Sisters watching over Fellow Members should
be a priority
5. When having a party, have it structured with security and follow the suggestions from above.
6. Cover Thine self or get gone from campus and Organization.
7. Work with the College not against them. It is much easier if done correctly.
I think the liquor laws are atrocious, but it is the Law and better be followed.
I was in the Liquor Business for many years and it can do silly and stupid things to people. But When people die We as Greeks have a major situation.
I wish I had the answers, and I dont know if any of us do have them?
But, it is just something to think about.
