I was kind of a floater too. I wouldn't consider myself popular, but I wouldn't consider myself totally unpopular in high school. (Grade school was another story...) I was involved in a lot of things (newspaper, Operation Snowball, student government, choir, literary magazine, Jayteens, etc) and I took honors classes in English and social studies but not math, so I got to know people from all different groups. I was friends with a lot of people who weren't really friends with each other. I didn't really date in high school...I was that girl who was every guy's friend, but nobody's girlfriend. I did have kind of a core group of friends and I'm still in touch with most of them today. (I'm in touch with more of my high school friends than my college friends, go figure!)
