Like anything else, it depends. Some women have done it for years. Others do it because someone has to (or they get a call from their NS saying that the Corp President had to step down and ask if you'll do it?
) It's not always glamorous, it's not always easy and it's definitely what I thought I'd be doing for AOII at this point in my life. It's also the one of the most educational and rewarding things I've ever done as an AOII. It's hard at times, but I really do enjoy what I do.
