A Soror shared this with me this morning and I got excited
Pardon my dust ~ I'm preparing to serve you better
Folks might be noticing a change in my attitude
Don't mind me, I'm preparing to serve you better
There is a difference in the company I keep
There is a change in my methods of communication
Pardon my dust ~ I'm preparing to serve you better
I don't go the places I used to go
I'm not seeing eye to eye with everyone
Pardon my dust ~ I'm preparing to serve you better
I've had to cut some folks off
I've had to bring some new folks into my circle
Pardon my dust~I'm preparing to serve you better
The things that motivate me have changed and as a direct result so have my methods of achieving my desired results
Some might say I've changed for the worst
Some others might say its a change for the best
Still others might feel like I'm on another planet
Pardon my dust ~ I'm preparing to serve you better
I'm spending less time talking and more time doing
I'm spending less time worrying and more time praying
I'm spending less time pouting and more time moving on
I'm spending less time sulking and more time being thankful
I'm spending less time being the victim and more time being the victor
Pardon my dust ~ I'm preparing to serve you better
No satisfaction guarantee necessary
I have discovered that when the Father is pleased and I am most content and everything else falls into place
Some folks stick and stay
Some folks duck and dodge
Not a problem for me because I understand that this is what must be.
Pardon my dust ~ I'm preparing to serve you better
When the dust clears there will still be some murmurs about the old me but that is to be expected
I'm taking the strength built up from the triumphs and challenges of my yesterday and combining it with the promise of tomorrow to evolve into my purpose.
For when I am whole and complete, happy with me, managing my problems, celebrating my successes, being the best me I can be, then my impact and influence means something positive and powerful.
This is not an overnight transformation but I can already see the good its done me
Pardon my dust ~ I'm preparing to serve you better.
