Soror CT4, I agree! I thought that I was given the whole nine when I applied to be a substitute. We had to take a test, give a transcript, attend some seminars, we had to be fingerprinted, and a background check had to be run. I was like, am I applying to the FBI or what? I didn't think that people would actually go that far to lie about being certified to teach. I mean, it's not as if teachers make a whole lot of money! Oh well, I just can't believe that she was able to keep up the lie for as long as she did.
