I agree with you there is a bias towards DST and AKA. Anytime I have ever read an article with verbiage about black greek sororities, DST or AKA are often the "featured" group. Most of the time after the author has said all that he or she wants to say about one of those two there is mention of Zeta Phi Beta and Sigma Gamma Rho at the end and it is often just mentioning they are also black sororities and their founding year.
I can't answer why that happens.
