The first time around, I was blessed to only have a very slight case of the 'Baby Blues'...of course...there were many other contributing factors.

I don't think I need to remind everyone, but for the naive, EVERY woman is different. What works for one, might not work for the other. I was not given the option of an epidural, my labor went too quickly. Is that my fault? Did I ask for that? Until you push something the size of a watermelon, out a whole the size of an orange, keep your inane comments to yourself. Please, James, you sound as dumb as Cruise does. There is obviously more to PPD than you could possibly comprehend.

To everyone else...sorry for my rudeness, but I'm about five weeks away from delivery, and my hormones are nuts! OH! I'll just go take some DHA...or diet and exercise...or something!
I agree with AnonAlumna. My doctor never told me a thing about DHA, and the first time I ever saw anything about it was on a label of formula about 8 months after giving birth.

I'm really thankful that my husband is so open-minded. He was completely supportive of my birth plan (which included an epidural and a couple of other pain relievers), and never questioned a single decision I made during pregnancy, labor, delivery, or post-delivery. I feel very sorry for Katie Holmes; somehow I just don't think Tom is going to keep his big fat trap shut for the next nine months.
