Is the cookbook from a single chapter? If so, it could be that they named their (then called) pledge classes. Thus, the member would be a initiate of that pledge class. Patroness would, of course, be an adult intiated at the time the chapter was installed. Just an idea.

That's a good idea about the names being the names of the pledge classes, but the cookbook says it's published by the Lambda Nu chapter
No matter what the chapters are in the book, I'm glad I won it- it's such a neat item!
